Playworld to "activate the power of play" at the 2012 NRPA Congress and Expo
Visitors to Booth #1921 Asked to Take The Sammy Challenge and Experience Motion Play Products
ANAHEIM, CA (October 16, 2012) – Playworld, a leading manufacturer of imaginative playground and fitness equipment, today announced that a dynamic showcase of motion play products to encourage everyone to activate the power of play will be on display at the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Congress and Exposition 2012 in Anaheim.
Parks and recreation industry professionals attending this year’s NRPA Congress and Expo will be able to see and experience firsthand the products designed to promote endurance, imagination, inclusivity and creativity. Included in the action-packed booth are Playworld’ Revo and NEOS® 360 Accessible, among other playground and fitness equipment. While visiting the Playworld’ display, attendees will be encouraged to take The Sammy Challenge. Kids are full of energy, and 7-year-old Sammy is no exception. He takes thousands of steps, spins on Revo and can play over 10 consecutive games of NEOS®. NRPA attendees will be challenged to keep up with Sammy and reap the health benefits of motion playground equipment. The Cozy Cocoon will also be on display and provides a calming escape from the cacophony of sounds and activities in the booth.

Revo (Ages 5-12)
With the kid-powered Revo, one child can enjoy the thrill of rocking or rolling alone or with the help of a friend. Revo features a vertical rotating ring within a sturdy base. Sitting inside, a child can spin a full 360 degrees or rock back and forth. The giggle-inducing play structure is designed with outer grips so others can easily assist with spinning.
NEOS® 360 Accessible (Ages 2-12)
NEOS’ combines the speed and thrill of electronic games with the explosive movement of aerobic exercise to create the most excitement ever to hit the playground. One of three interactive fun options to get everybody off the couch and into the great outdoors, the NEOS® 360 Accessible version offers buttons with light and sound signals at heights that everyone can reach. Its circular design builds peripheral vision, and auditory and spatial awareness skills. The NEOS 360 features eight games, each with one and two player options.
Cozy Cocoon (Ages 2-12)
Cozy Cocoon is fun for all children but designed especially for those with autism spectrum disorders. The structure’s enclosed space offers a secure spot where any child can escape when he or she becomes over-stimulated by the hubbub of the playground. The pod has interior textures and molded-in features for tactile exploration, plus helpful grips for easy entrance and exit. Windows on both sides facilitate supervision.
