HOUSTON (October 8, 2013) – Playworld, a leading manufacturer of imaginative playground and fitness equipment, today announced it will highlight “The Playworld Difference” at the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Congress and Exposition 2013 in Houston. Visitors to Playworld’ booth (#1405) will have the chance to discover that difference firsthand by experiencing the family-owned company’s industry-leading products – including its stylish, new site furnishings collection and new SMARTE® Safety Surfacing – as well as by participating in engaging and informative seminars on durability and maintenance reduction.

Playworld will hold seminars at 11 a.m. and noon on Tuesday, October 8, and noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9. These will explain how details can lower maintenance costs and increase durability, reducing operating costs for the playground operator throughout the life of the playground.
An Invitation to Come Out and Play
NRPA attendees are encouraged to visit the Playworld booth and play the Craftsmanship Challenge. This custom game demonstrates the company’s quality standards and craftsmanship. The highest scorer on each day will win an iPad.
The booth will feature Playworld’ new site furnishings collection that reflects the company’s dedication to extraordinary craftsmanship. These furnishings utilize premium materials and are designed to enhance parks, playgrounds, municipal areas and other outdoor spaces. Visitors to the booth will be able to see and touch the quality of the furnishings, which combine distinctive design and practical functionality. All five collections include concealed hardware, putting the focus on the beauty of the design.
